For Faculty

pathways of excellence

The XS/FS research group submitted a proposal for FSU's campus-wide competitive Pathways of Excellence cluster hiring initiative. The proposal was one of only four selected for approval.

Under the terms of our proposal, we will be adding five new faculty over the next three years; three in economics, two in political science. This year (2006 for positions to start in Fall 2007) the Economics Department is recruiting for a senior hire. This year the Political Science Department is looking at both the senior and junior levels. In future years the Economics department will seek to hire on two more junior positions.

For Graduate Students

The XS/FS lab is an interdisciplinary set of researchers spanning areas such Economics and Political Science along with Accounting. Students who are interested in programs allowing them to explore any of these areas through experimental techniques and especially those interested in finding programs that will all them to explore the intersection in these fields will find a very supportive environment at FSU.
