Economics Faculty PositionsAd Appearing in JOE FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY C9: Experimental Economics Florida State University's Economics Department is participating in the university's competitive Pathways of Excellence focused hiring initiative. The Experimental Social Science cluster (economics and political science) is adding five faculty over three years. This year, the Economics Department is seeking a junior faculty member (tenure track assistant professor) for this initiative. The candidate must provide evidence of the potential to produce nationally recognized research either incorporating laboratory economics experiments or demonstrating benefit from interacting with laboratory experimenters. The latter category could include economic theorists, applied econometricians, field experimentalists, or policy specialists. Preference will be given to those whose work indicates the potential for interacting with other social sciences. In addition to research duties, the usual teaching and service duties will be expected. Completion of all requirements for the Ph.D. before or shortly after the date of hire is critical.
